Description: The Washington State Labor Education and Research Center at South Seattle College is holding a re-opening celebration and conference on the theme of jobs and organizing. This will include an exhibition on the Seattle General Strike Centennial provided by the Labor Archives of Washington.
Day one is a banquet and keynote that will feature a keynote address by Tehere Gebre, Executive Vice President of the AFL-CIO, titled “Democracy Under Attack – Impacts on Jobs and Organizing and How to Build a Fighting Movement in Response.”
